FDIC: 34% of Ga. banks unprofitable

One-third of Georgia’s commercial banks and savings institutions insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) are now unprofitable, according to the FDIC's quarterly banking profile report published Tuesday.
